Mr. George L. Ball currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sanders Morris Harris Group and its operating entities: SMH Capital, Charlotte Capital, Kissinger Financial Services, Salient Partners, Salient Trust Co., SMH Capital Advisors, Select Sports Group and the Edelman Financial Center.

Prior to the merger of Harris Webb & Garrison and Sanders Morris Mundy in 1997, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sanders Morris Mundy Inc.

Distinguished career highlights include: Senior Executive Vice President of Smith Barney Shearson Inc., President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Prudential-Bache Securities, Inc. and
President of E.F. Hutton Group, Inc.

Mr. Ball holds a degree from Brown University.

Mr. Don A. Sanders is Vice Chairman of the Board and a Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Sanders Morris Harris. He co-founded Sanders Morris Mundy, one of the predecessor firms of Sanders Morris Harris. Mr. Sanders has over 40 years experience in the securities industry.

He began his career at E.F. Hutton in 1959 as an Account Executive. As one of its leading brokers, he became an Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of E.F. Hutton. In 1987, after 28 years with E.F. Hutton, he resigned to form Sanders Morris Mundy.

Mr. Sanders received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas.

Mr. Sanders' current and recent board seats include: Sanders Morris Harris Group, Houston Police Officers Pension System, the Nolan Ryan Foundation, the Childress Foundation and the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Mr. Sanders past board seats include: Waste Services Inc. and E.F. Hutton & Co., Inc.

Mr. Sanders is also the principal owner of the Round Rock Express Baseball Club and Chairman of Community Partners. Mr. Sanders was the former owner of the Houston Sports Association and the Houston Astros.

Mr. Ben T. Morris is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Sanders Morris Harris and as CEO and a Director of Sanders Morris Harris Group.

Mr. Morris was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2000. He co-founded Sanders Morris Mundy Inc. in 1987 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer and as a Director at the time of its combination with Harris Webb & Garrison, Inc. Since then, Mr. Morris has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Sanders Morris Harris and as a Director of Salient Partners & Salient Trust Co. and SMH Capital Advisors.

Mr. Morris served as the Chief Operating Officer of Tatham Corporation from 1980 to 1984. Prior to that, he served in a number of executive positions with Mid American Oil and Gas, Inc. and predecessor companies from 1973 to 1980, and was its President from 1979 to 1980. From 1967 to 1973, Mr. Morris was employed by what is now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, last serving as audit manager.

Mr. Robert E. Garrison II is President of Sanders Morris Harris Group as well as one of SMHG's Directors. Prior, Mr. Garrison served as SMHG's Chief Executive Officer from January 1999 to May 2000.

Mr. Garrison, a Chartered Financial Analyst and has more than 34 years experience in the securities industry.

Mr. Garrison's co-founded Harris Webb & Garrison, Inc. and previously served as its Executive Vice President and Head of Investment Banking. Until the formation of SMHG in 1999, Mr. Garrison also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Salient Trust Co., which he co-founded in 1994. Prior, Mr. Garrison was President and Chief Executive Officer of Medical Center Bank & Trust Company, and President of Iroquois Brands. Earlier in his career, he served as Managing Partner of Lovett Mitchell Webb & Garrison (a division of Kemper Securities) and from 1971 to 1982, as Director of Research for Underwood Neuhaus and Co.

Mr. Garrison holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas with a dual major in accounting and finance and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas.

Mr. Garrsion's current board affiliations include: FirstCity Financial Corporation (a public financial services company), Crown Castle International Corp. (which owns and operates technologically advanced shared wireless infrastructure, including extensive networks of towers and rooftops), Prosperity Bank, Somerset House Publishing, Memorial Hermann Hospital Systems, Brava Therapeutics and PTC-Houston Investors LLC, the general partner of Proton Therapy Center-Houston, Ltd. LLP.

Mr. William W. Sprague is a Managing Director at SMH Capital in the Investment Banking Group. As the Head of Investment Banking, Mr. Sprague helps drive SMH Capital with the same entrepreneurial spirit as the firm's clients, and firmly believes in the advantages of a full service middle market investment firm. “Large Wall Street firms only care about whether they can market a transaction. SMH Capital asks the more basic question, should the company even do it?” Mr. Sprague has established SMH Capital Investment Banking Group with the unique combination of full-service investment banking capabilities delivered by experienced senior bankers to optimally serve clients.

Before joining SMH Capital in 2004, Mr. Sprague was the Founder of Crest Advisors LLC and has more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance and private equity investing. In addition, Mr. Sprague has substantial financial and operational experience, which includes successfully building Smith Barney's Mergers & Acquisitions Group as Co-Head and the Media & Communications Group as the group's Head into $100 million investment banking practices. He was also a member of Smith Barney's Fairness Opinion and Operations Committees.

Prior to that, Mr. Sprague was one of the founding members of the Merchant Banking Group of Kidder Peabody. During his career, he has completed more than $12 billion of transactions in private equity, senior and sub-debt, acquisitions, divestitures, and initial and secondary public offerings. Mr. Sprague has worked with such leading companies as Westinghouse, Comcast, Turner Broadcasting, Valassis Communications, Metro Mobile and Davidson & Associates.

Mr. Sprague holds a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College and a Masters of Business Administration with distinction from the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Sprague's current and recent board seats include: GeoEye Inc. (NASDAQ - GEOY), Orbimage Holdings Inc., (OTCPK:ORBM), Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. (NYSE:ETH) and several private companies.





Stephen R. Cordill

Stephen R. Cordill joined SMH Capital in 2006 as the President of the Asset & Wealth Management Group. Prior to joining SMH Capital, he was the Managing Director at Oppenheimer & Company.

During his tenure with Oppenheimer, he formed the firm's asset management division which included proprietary offerings, wrap fee programs, the consulting group and the alternative investment area. He was later responsible for developing the firm's Southwest presence based in Houston which included Wealth Management, Institutional Sales, Global Energy Research and Investment Banking.

Prior to Oppenheimer, Mr. Cordill headed the Special Products and Institutional Group at Alliance Capital. He was Director of Financial Services (including asset management) at Prudential Bache Securities, and launched the Financial Planning department at Touche Ross & Company.

Mr. Cordill is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Business, holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School, and a Masters of Law in Taxation from the DePaul University School of Law.

He also holds the professional designations of Certified Public Accountant from the University of Illinois and Certified Investment Management Analyst from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
